1. Who we are

   This website belongs to Tandartspraktijk i-Smile, Stalenstraat 133, 3600 Genk. The practice is the trading name of Violetta Tsertanidou BV, with registered office at Stalenstraat 133 bus 135, 3600 Genk. Company number 0689.547.660, VAT number BE 0689.547.660.

2. What this policy covers

   This is about this website. It does not describe what happens to your dental record in the practice itself — please ask us at reception about that.

3. What we collect, and why

   When you use the contact form

   Your name, your email address, the treatment you chose and your message — and your phone number, if you choose to enter it. We use this to reply to you, and for nothing else.

   When you apply

   Your first and last name, your email address, your phone number, what you enter about your education, experience and RIZIV number, the languages you speak, when you can start, and the CV you send with it. We use this to assess your application, and for nothing else.

   When you email us

   The message, the address it comes from, and anything you add to it.

   To keep bots out of the form

   A one-way fingerprint of your connection. This is not an address, and it cannot be traced back to an address.

   If you only read the site

   Nothing. There are no visitor statistics here and no adverts.

4. Cookies

   This website does not place any cookies itself. We store one thing in your own browser: your answer to the question about content from other websites, so we do not have to ask you every time. That answer stays with you and is not sent to us.

   Two things on this site do come from elsewhere — the Google map with our contact details, and videos in articles, which come from YouTube or Vimeo. If you allow them, those companies place their own cookies and receive your IP address. If you refuse, the map is not loaded and you will see our address, and a video is only loaded when you click it yourself.

   The source code of this site contains one fixed line of text that allows Meta — the company behind Facebook and Instagram — to verify that this domain belongs to the practice. Meta reads that line when the practice itself requests that check. Nothing from Meta is loaded, no cookie is involved, and Meta does not learn anything about your visit from it.

   You can change your answer at any time via Cookie settings, at the bottom of every page.

5. Who else can see your data

   Our web host, our database, our email service and the practice’s mailbox with Google (Gmail) — and no one else. The database is in Frankfurt, Germany. The email service is also in the European Union and keeps a copy of messages we receive for a further thirty days. A message sent via the contact form, an application with a CV and emails to our addresses also arrive in that Gmail mailbox, where the practice reads and replies to them. Google may also store them outside the European Union.

   We do not sell your data to anyone, and we never will.

6. How long we keep it

   We keep a message you send us for as long as we need it to reply to you and help you further, and no longer. If you would like it deleted sooner, let us know and we will delete it.

   We keep an application and the CV that goes with it until we delete them ourselves, so that we can still contact you later if something becomes available. If you would like us to delete them sooner, let us know — then your details and your CV will be removed.

7. Your rights

   You can ask what we keep about you, have it corrected, have it deleted, restrict how it is used, object to its use, receive a copy of it, or withdraw consent you gave. Email info@tandartspraktijk-i-smile.com, and we will reply within one month.

8. If you are not satisfied

   You can lodge a complaint with the Belgian supervisory authority: Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit, Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussel. You can email contact@apd-gba.be or call +32 (0)2 274 48 00.

9. How we protect it

   Everything goes over an encrypted connection. The practice's screens require a login, and files you send us are kept in protected storage that cannot be accessed from the open internet.

10. Changes

    If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. The version on this page is the version that applies.
